First of its kind for the members and Open Source enthusiasts.
TWINCLING Society is organizing 'Firefox 2.0 Hackathon' session on Sat, 20th January, 2007.
The current plan is as follows -
Pre Session (1.5 hours)
1. Firefox technology quick fire tutorials (XUL, RDF, JavaScript)
2. Firefox architecture, Source code layout, How to build
In Session (4 hours)
1. Problem statement discussion (TWINCLING Toolbar)
2. Hacking
Post Session (30 min)
1. Review of the product development by the audience
2. Sharing experience while hacking.
We will setup a Wireless Wifi 802.11 a/b/g router (DHCP enabled) and a build server.
There will be enough power ports for you to plug-in your laptop and start hacking !
Refreshments and Coffee will be served during the course of the event!
The setup and conf room can accomodate upto 50 participants. See you then !
The venue is as always at 5th Floor, Conference Room, CommVault, Ashoka Janardhan Chambers, Opposite Shopper's Stop, S. P. Road, Begumpet, Hyderabad 500 033.

LFY and CSI Magazines at Linux Top20
For the benefits of the members of TWINCLING Society member, the Society will be displaying recent and current issues of Linux For You (LFY) magazine and Computer Society of India (CSI) Communications magazine.
Members are requested to take a look at the magazines and share with members any interesting article they appreciate.
The Society is also making available KNOPPIX, UBUNTU, XUBUNTU CD's at the venue.

A "theme" is a subject matter of a conversation or discussion.
